Ronnie Battista

Director of Client Strategy for MISI Company

Ronnie has been working as an advocate for the voice of customer for 15 years. Starting his career on the programming side, he quickly realized that many projects did not engage end users in the software development lifecycle. After working a few too many weekends fixing problems that would not have existed if someone had simply asked a user what they needed, he stopped coding and started listening. As Director of Client Strategy for MISI Company, he now helps clients deliver innovative, engaging and user friendly experiences.

Prior to joining MISI, Ronnie led US operations for Gextech a Spanish gaming company, leading global user experience research efforts for the organization. He was also Vice President of Online Customer Experience for D&B, where he led the UI development of D&B's next-generation online product D&B interactive" (DNBi) interface.

The majority of Ronnie's User Experience (UX) experience was gained at Accenture, where he build and led the User Experience Labs at Accenture's Innovation Center in Murray Hill, NJ. While at Accenture he provided UX leadership to over 80 global clients, working across all major industries, communication channels and development phases. His product development and promotion for a new VoIP service from a leading telecom provider was featured during the Superbowl and Winter Olympics. He also created and led the customer experience testing strategy for a groundbreaking marketing/advertising consortium, testing advertising formats using Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and Video On Demand (VOD) technologies.

Ronnie graduated from Rutgers in 1993, back when there were 4 Mac Computers on the College Avenue campus, and people had to queue up outside the student center 5:30 am to get a good spot for the 'add/drop' courses process.
